Tech Tonics started 2015 with a goal of featuring the people and passion at the intersection of technology and health. We had 24 great shows featuring the perspectives of consumers and physicians, technologists and investors and others who represent the best and brightest from the digital health community.
In five short years the sector has gone from no where to everywhere, gaining steam that some see as energy and some see as vapor. As once-trendy digital health companies have seen their valuations tumble in both public and private markets, it seems clear we have moved off the peak of inflated expectations, and seem well on our way to the trough of disillusionment, as the Gartner Group might say. In this Tech Tonics podcast, Lisa and David discuss how we got here, and look at some hopeful signs on the horizon.
